In brief

For the past decade I have been designing for the web, print, installation art, big screens, touch screens, sound and so on.
My past clients include global brands such as BMW, Bosch, Dulux, Bluscope Steel and Toyota, alongside countless smaller companies worldwide.
My core focus is UI design and UX Architecture. I also enjoy making electro, coffee and cheesecake. I consult and train on what I do with clients all worldwide.

What I use:

As a front end UI/UX badass I can work as happily within a LAMP stack as I do a rails app or .NET application. I'm comfortable with SVN, Git, javascript (mootools fan) and all that lot. XHTML is strict and coffee is strong.
I work on a mac, with Photoshop for vectors and pixels, Coda for code and Logic for audio.

ideas* is an immensely innovative engineering firm based in Melbourne, Australia, with a worldwide client base. The ideaservices.com.au redesign is currently one of the most exciting I have undertaken. It will launch mid 2009.

Future Spark 2008 - present: Art Direction

Future Spark is an ambitious project by ideas* to generate power for Melbourne's Earth Hour using bikes and solar power. I worked with ideas to brand the project, designing logos, print and web media, including futurespark.com.au.

Squareweave 2008 - present: Creative Director

After working with Luke Giuliani for many years, the two of us launched Squareweave in 2008. As the Creative Director, I have since completed projects with Luke for clients in Australia and internationally, including touch screen interfaces, on-site training courses and a slew of web projects.

Photoshop Top Secret 2008 - present: Coder

Mark Monciardini is a world-reknowned expert, Worth1000 Grand Jury Award winner and listed by Wacom as one of their Top 40 Photoshop Experts. I am responsible for turning his designs into a web-ready format at his site, photoshoptopsecret.com. Reasonably advanced and very clean HTML, CSS and javascript are employed throughout.

Bellevue Studios 2008 - present: Consultant

Ros, the Director of Bellevue Studios, is an excellent design studio based in Adelaide, Australia. For the past few years I have been working with Bellevue, providing consultancy, training, web / javascript / PHP and so on. Since starting working with her team, 99% of the sites launched by Bellevue have had input from myself.

Origination CRM: 2008 - present: Lead Web Developer

Currently I work part time with Origination CRM, as lead web developer. I am responsible for concept design, research and development, consultancy and training, alongside the day to day of design and coding. I designed and implemented the originationcrm.com site, as well as many more for their clients.

Riksmi: 2008 - present: Consultant

Working with Kenneth Olling (Professor of design, Beijing University) from Meld has been a real honour. We have been working with him over the past year on his projects in Norway, including an overhaul of the Department of Medical Informatics and Centre for Cancer Biomedicine. Projects will be launched mid 2009.

1upSearch: 2005: Art Direction, design.

I oversaw the branding, design, and development of 1upsearch.co.uk back in 2005. The site design hasn't changed since then. Ian and Alex provide excellent SEO services to clients across the UK.

For the past decade I have had the pleasure of working with an array of bands, labels, non-profits and similar, on everything from Art Direction to audio production, event management and guerilla marketing.

A Note on code
